A freshly disgorged Tokaji Azsu Hungarian Oak Ginsi Cask is filled with our single-grain Malted Rye spirit. This spirit will be aged within the cask as the complexity of the spirit and the sweetness of the wine marry perfectly to deliver a spicy Rye whisky with hints of tropical fruits.

Made from 100% malted rye, and distilled on the grain. It is ageing in 100 litre STR, medium char cask from Speyside. It will be finished in a Tokaji seasoned cask before it is bottled.
Update Feb 24: We have 2 freshly emptied Ginsi casks Hungarian oak, these are 13 years old and have held 4 award winning Aszu wine from Obzidian. Jez travelled to Tokaji to pick these barrels up after he emptied them, the whisky was then poured into the casks on his return... this is the first expression of many whiskies to be finished in this way. Not mass produced just finished in small batch by hand and sent to you.
